#MYReats: Inaugural Cupcake Eating Contest at Croissants Bistro & Bakery (Update: Local principal wins)

Update July 5, 2012:  The Carolina Forest Elementary Facebook feed reports that their principal, Dennis Devorick, was the winner. 

Mr. Devorick ate 19 cupcakes in 5 minutes.  The runner up, Jesse Hernandez, who is on leave from the Air Force, from Chicago, but stationed in Salt Lake City, UT, ate 16 cupcakes in that same length of time.


First report:  Start that gut training now! Croissants Bistro & Bakery is celebrating the 4th of July the best way they can, with a Cupcake Eating Contest.

Wednesday, July 4th at 4 p.m. Croissants will be starting a new Independence Day tradition for the Grand Strand with their inaugural Cupcake Eating Contest. According to their blog post, the competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 and space is limited, so drop them an email ASAP

The winner will receive a grand prize package of some sort, but there is no word on what that might be. For the latest details on the contest make sure to 'like' Croissants on Facebook
