The Post and Courier's Deidre Schipani on the re-spicing of the Old Village Post House in Mount Pleasant:
Lunch service was eliminated. The menu was streamlined and the multicultural talents of Lee melded Southern ingredients with French sensibilities. A chef of considerable talent, he found the self-correcting balance that marries Southern classics to the contemporary synthesis of local and seasonal and entrusted the execution to Walker.
The Post and Courier gave the Souther-fare serving restaurant 4.5 stars for its food, and 4 for service and atmosphere. Expect to dish out around $20 for an entree.
