Quick Bite now open on the market (updated: now closed)

Update September 4: Well, just two months later the shop is closed.

Really sad to see it go, downtown Charleston needed a place open late.

Update June 29: It's alive! Quick Bite has finally opened up, and today is their first day. So drop by and grab a ... well ... quick bite.

Quick Bite is set to open soon at the end of Market Street is about to take the late night food world by storm.

The Charleston City Paper says the restaurant will be serving up yummies from onion rings to gyros, the highlight being that they plan to stay open 24 hours Friday and Saturday. Prices range from $1.50 to $6.50 and you can place orders ahead for time by calling (843) 577-3010.

No firm date has yet been set for opening, and a check-in with the owner on June 9, pegged their opening date from June 14 to June 20.
