Trattoria Lucca offers tasty Italian fare for a reasonable price

Now that the long-awaited Trattoria Lucca is finally open, the reviews are rolling in. The consensus? It's good, plentiful food in a neighborhood where you wouldn't expect it, but it's not as cheap as you might have thought.
David Griffin Heiser writes about his experience:
The menu, as planned, is reasonably priced. They certainly aren't giving anything away (a $16 plate of fresh made cavatelli is still a $16 plate of pasta at the end of the day), but none of the entrees top $20 and the appetizers peak at $9 as well.
All-in-all he seems to largely agree with the Charleston City Paper's take that it's a good experience for a good price.
Lucca is at 41 Bogard Street.
