The Charleston Regional Business Journal has an article that digs a little deeper into the inspiration for Brett Mckee's new Mount Pleasant restaurant 17 North.

If McKee's name sounds familiar, it's because he is the owner and chef at downtown's premier steakhouse, Oak Steakhouse. McKee loves to please, that's why he asked his Facebook friends what they'd like to see on the new menu.

Heads up, the opening of 17 North is slated for November 1.
