Charleston Parks Conservancy seeks volunteers to keep parks watered

Want to be an Aqua Angel and help keep our area parks watered during this insane summer heat?

Then Charleston Parks Conservancy is looking for you.

Aqua Angels water once or twice a week in the Courtyard Garden at the Gibbes Museum Cannon Park, Brittlebank Park, Chapel Street Fountain Park, Hazel Parker Playground, Marion Square, Windermere Boulevard Community Garden, and Simonton Park. The volunteers are just one part of the Conservancy's Park Angels program.

And the Conservancy is looking for even more Aqua Angels to help out. Volunteers are able to water on a timeline that works with their schedules, and they will be instructed on proper watering techniques.

If you're interested and want more info, contact Paul Wentz at pwentz@charlestonparksconservancy.org or call the Conservancy at (843) 724-5003.
