Citadel, VMI compete in blood donning competition

Today cadets at The Citadel and The Virginia Military Institute are squaring off to see who can raise the most blood.

The Citadel donates the most blood to the Charleston area chapter of the American Red Cross and is the largest donor of platelets in the South Carolina. Last year The Citadel family donated 1,899 units of blood.
