UNED!TED Artists in collaboration with Chamber Music Charleston and the Charleston Dance Institute.

Join in Charleston’s newest holiday tradition – Hans Christian Anderson’s holiday classic comes to life as snowflakes swirl, turkeys trot, and flames come to life in the original ballet of The Little Match Girl. With an original score by Charleston native Laura Ball and choreography by Jonathan Tabbert, the musicians of Chamber Music Charleston and the pre-professional youth company of the Charleston Dance Institute bring holiday magic to the stage of the majestic Sottile Theatre.

A beautiful tale for all ages, the Little Match Girl tells the story of a young girl selling her wares on a cold winters day – as she struggles to keep warm, she lights each match in her bundle and visions dance before her of warm coal stoves, holiday roasts, and festive parties.
