In all $1,511,150 was awarded to South Carolina communities, artists, arts organizations and schools.

“Although these grant amounts reflect a reduction in state funding over the past year, these annual awards continue to help make the arts available to schools and communities across our state," said Ken May, acting executive director of the S.C. Arts Commission.
