Fashion shop Mary Norton closes up, owes $5 million (updated)

Two weeks after having a massive store clearance, it appears Charleston's high end fashion designer Mary Norton is done.
The Post and Courier reports the company has filed bankruptcy and owes some $5 million.
Youch.
Update July 21: The Post and Courier has added an updated story. There aren't too many more details on the bankruptcy, but the story has more of a focus on Norton's rise to fame.
Update July 22: The Charleston Regional Business Journal has added a story, and it looks like the amount owed has been revised downwards to some $5 million.
