The distinctive grocery store chain Trader Joe's just opened a store in Greenville and the company has still been saying it has no plans for Charleston.

Well, The Post and Courier tweaked their query a bit about whether or not they were coming to Mount Pleasant, and while they didn't get a yes, it was certainly a less solid "no."

A bit of further scouring puts the speculation on the old Food Lion location on Coleman Boulevard. That one comes by way of the "Bring Trader Joes to Charleston" Facebook group. Also on there is a post dated October 4 that has rumor info of the chain having signed a lease on October 4th.
