Drip. Drip. Drip. Charleston gas prices fall 30 cents

Summer drivers rejoice: Area gas prices have fallen some 30 cents since peaking in late June at $2.52 a gallon.

While South Carolina is vying for having some of the lowest prices in the nation, Charleston County's prices still remain relatively higher than the rest of the state.

The State has a piece about how Columbia is overjoyed as their prices have fallen some 40 cents in the last month.
