An associate professor from the College of Charleston's School of Business recently received the Freedoms Foundation Leavy Award Honoring Excellence in Private Enterprise Education.

Professor David Desplaces received the award and a $7,500 cash prize for his International Service Learning Project entitled Technology for Africa.
