C of C's Carolina First Area may be headed for a name change

The College of Charleston's Carolina First Arena may be undergoing a name change in the near future.
The South Financial Group Inc., Carolina First's parent company, is being bought out by TD Bank Financial Service, leaving many to wonder if the $2 million naming rights agreement will hold.
The Post and Courier reports that, "...the $2 million naming rights agreement was the single largest gift the college had received from a corporation and the most money Carolina First had donated at one time."
