Charleston area hotels have decent 2010, look to good 2011

After slugging through a weak 2009, 2010 proved to be far better for hotels in the Charleston area — instead of falling 8 percent, room bookings were up 9 percent.
And that's a pattern that has most hotels hopeful for 2011 as the economy rebounds, tourism boosts, and big employers like Boeing set up shop.
