CofC president Benson offered 3 year extension

President P. George Benson of the College of Charleston was offered a three year extension to his current contract.
The contract calls for him to continue receive pay at a rate of $350,000 a year until the end of the extension in February 2015.
The news was first reported by the college media site CisternYard.com and was followed by an e-mail to all enrolled students from Executive Vice President for Student Affairs Victor Wilson.
