The Port of Charleston will export an extra 5,000 cars each year, now that Hoegh Autoliners placed an additional two port calls a month with the local port.
The first vessel, the Hoech Bangkok, is scheduled to arrive on Jan. 29 and will load BMWs made at their SC plant.
Hoegh Autoliners is a one of the world's largest shippers of vehicles and rolling stock.
Hop over to The Post and Courier for the story.
