The Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation has been working with established local screen printing business, Native Sons, on a package called Project AF that promises to ultimately create 80 above average wage positions.
The code name designation is a nod to one of Native Sons largest contract customers, Abercrombie & Fitch. WMBF has some details on the deal here. Established in 1984, Native Sons has always been a Myrtle Beach headquartered business. Recently, they converted the 56,000 square foot building that was formerly the Habitat for Humanity Store into a modern facility. The Sun News has even more details on the EDC deal and the hiring process here.
