New plans for Charleston Port finally ready

After months of planning with the city, the South Carolina Ports Authority is finally unveiling their concept for a new cruise terminal at a community meeting on February 9th.

The South Carolina Ports Authority has been working since last fall to replace the almost 40-year-old brick and cinderblock that makes up the Charleston Port terminal. 55-acres around the terminal and waterfront is scheduled to be redone.

The Sun News has more on the matter and explains what big business will enjoy the rennovations.
