Sheraton Charleston Airport Hotel poised for foreclosure (update: receivership)

Update April 23: The Post and Courier is reporting that a third party is indeed taking control of the hotel as foreclosure proceeds.

First reporting April 5: The 289-room Sheraton Charleston Airport Hotel, 4770 Goer Drive, appears to be the next foreclosure target.
Recent court filings state that the property's owner owes over $21 million plus interest. For the record, that interest is accruing at over $6,000 each and every day. That's a lot of debt.
A Sheraton manager declined to comment to The Post and Courier regarding the foreclosure filing.
