Study: Clemson has $7.5 Million impact on tri-county

No word on if the impact includes hat sales.
In an economic study through 2010 charting Clemson University's impact on dollar, job, and population creation, the university is attributed with creating some $7.5 million in the tri-county area of Horry, Georgetown and Florence counties.
Horry county saw $1.5 million, Georgetown $1.3 million, and Florence county seems to be the biggest winner of economic impact in the region with $4.6 million alone from Clemson in 2010.
