Traffic and North Charleston's new Boeing plant: What's happening and what's needed
Image by Boeing The Boeing site as of February 10.
The new Boeing plant next to the Charleston International Airport can employe some 6,500 people — something that means a lot more people hitting area roads at shift change.
While a few million dollars worth of changes are already underway, hundreds millions more in improvements are desired for an infrastructure that was largely running at and over capacity before Boeing's coming.
ABC News 4 has a nice video report on the matter and what needs doing and what the fears are; watch it over here.
