However, both analysts say the Ingleside development likely won’t contribute to higher-than-usual vacancy rates or be dragged down by them.
Because most development has stopped, little commercial space is coming online now, Lucy said. So when Ingleside takes shape a few years down the road, it will be able to offer new commercial space to retailers without many competitors.
Let's hope those analysts are right.
