Man says he was held hostage over soured Folly condo deal (update: pleas entered)

Update July 27: The trial moves forward and the accused say they're not guilty; read about it at The Post and Courier.

First reporting, June 12: The scenario goes something like this, a 37-year-old businessman says a soured deal over a $200,000 condo on Folly Beach led two men to hold him captive, bind him to a chair and bludgeon him until he signed documents completing the deal.

If you think it sounds bizarre, that's because it is.

I'm sure we'll be seeing more on this one, but for now The Post and Courier has an excellent intro. Read it here.
