In what sounds like the scene from a movie, an attempted robbery of a Myrtle Beach hotel's front desk was stopped by a guest of the hotel.

According to the WMBF report, the clerk working at the counter called a hotel guest over during the robbery to hint that something was going down. The robber caught on to her plan and made the guest get behind the counter. WMBF tells the rest of the story.

The incident happened at the M Grand Resort & Spa.
