Parking vandalism compounds parking fee woes on Folly Beach's Washout

While West Ashley's Avondale neighborhood has been in the traffic headlines for a lack of parking spaces, Folly Beach has also been getting little love.

Only this is not about scarcity, but the city's $1 per hour parking fee that's been made worse thanks to vandalism by those unhappy by the fee. And that, in turn, has made beach goers unhappy as they're still getting stuck with $20 tickets whether or not they can pay.
