Man gets $1.8 million bond after 5-car pileup kills one

On Saturday morning a five-car accident killed one 56-year-old Jasper County woman about a mile north of the Georgia border.
Charged in the incident is 22-year-old Carlos L. Melendez, he is accused of felony driving under the influence and has $1.8 million bond.
The accident also shut down the Talmadge Bridge (Savannah's big bridge) for about 10 hours.
