$30,000 worth of pot found in Cross

Berkeley County and state authorities discovered about $30,000 worth of marijuana growing in a wooded area near cross after a State Law Enforcement Division spotted the plants during a drug-eradication sweep. What they don't know is who the plants belonged to.

From The Post and Courier:

The 15 plants each stood about a foot high, sheriff's Public Information Officer Dan Moon said; they were spotted from a State Law Enforcement Division helicopter. Authorities on the ground tracked them to a wooded area near a vacant mobile home at 517 Forked Lane.
