More coast-clear calls than warnings

If you live in Summerville and were concerned about an all-clear call you may have received Wednesday night because you never got the warning, fear not. The systems not broken.

Live 5 News has a story detailing that the alert was canceled Wednesday night before all the calls could go out, so only 16 percent of the targeted numbers were warned.

The program, REACH, targets all of South Carolina, and if your number isn't in the phone book you may want to register it yourself (yes, that's you, cell phone user. Earlier this year Charleston County launched its own alert system.
