Charles Lewis Gordon IV and Ashley Nicole Gordon have been charged with homicide by child abuse after their youngest son, 9-month-old Andrew, was found dead in a soiled crib.

Oh, and the paper mentions that the child had only been for one checkup as the family didn't have health care, it seems worth connecting that to stories about South Carolina's free healthcare programs for children have proven ineffective.
