Police are investigating what has been confirmed as the third Mount Pleasant grocery store robbery in one month.

Around 10 p.m. on Monday night, police were called to the Piggly Wiggly at 1981 Riviera Drive, where witnesses described three suspects -- one carrying a dark revolver and another holding an “auto Uzi.” The suspects demanded cash and fled. All three have yet to be located.

The Post and Courier has the brief on Monday's robbery along with background on the two other recent grocery store robberies; read it here.
