Gordon Biersch hosts Festbier tapping party tonight
October is near and that means Oktoberfest is also knocking on our door.
Tonight, Tuesday September 13th, there will be a tapping party at Gordon Biersch at Market Common from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Bring a $5 donation for New Beginnings which provides food to those in need and you'll get to sample a variety of Biersch brews. Children's books are also being accepted as donations at the event.
Gordon Biersch FestBier is an early Oktoberfest brew with a lighter body than Märzen but a more robust, hoppy flavor. The maltiness is created via a combination of dark-roasted Munich malt and pilsner malt, and the hoppy aroma is achieved via the imported aroma hops.
