Mount Pleasant begins pulling abandoned boats from Shem Creek

Partly to protect the environment and partly to get things ready for a forthcoming park, the Town of Mount Pleasant has used a crane to remove several abandoned boats from Shem Creek.

But Mount Pleasant certainly isn't alone, Folly has removed boats as well, and it's an idea that's gaining momentum from towns, to legislatures, to the national press.
