First report: The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control has report 15 deaths from the flu season. I'll point you to ABC News 4's report.

The Sun News is reporting that, "Horry County had 224 positive rapid flu tests reported during the week of Christmas..." They go on to state that Horry County Schools had an increase of flu cases just before Christmas break.

This season is regarded as the most active in a decade, with the worst passing in late January or February.
