South Carolina's swine flu count reaches 29

The official count of Swine Flu cases in South Carolina has reached 29, with two Lowcountry cases.

S.C. DHEC maintains a map of the virus's spread in S.C.

Read more stories on this subject in our swine topic page. The two cases (one in Charleston County, and one in Beaufort County) came from recent visits to out-of-state areas that were more heavily infected with the flu.

Meanwhile the total number of cases confirmed by the CDC over the last dozen days has climbed to 1,639 cases.
