Beer truck accident sends hundreds of brews spewing along I-26 (updated)

Image by Flickr user FlySi Not the beer in question, but you get the idea.

Updates inline.

Thanks to a car rapidly exiting the highway, two tractor trailers collided on Interstate 26 near Exit 205 Friday morning, causing one to spill the contents of its load -- hundreds of cases of beer -- onto the westbound lanes.

Luckily, no humans were injured, but quite a few Schlitz Malt Liquors, Pabst Blue Ribbons, and Old Milwaukees were lost upon impact.

The Post and Courier has a brief along with a photo gallery of the wreck, but my preferred report and imagery comes by way of video at NBC News 2.
