A record high set in Charleston Saturday; cooler this week

It's a bit non-news, but we thought you might like to know that it was officially a record hot Saturday.
(Especially those of you that sweltered through the air expo.)
The 9th's official high of 90 degrees trumped the official record of 89 degrees set in 1965 — that means yesterday was the hottest on record since 1860.
On the upside, it's much cooler today (forecast high of 82), and this week should be cooler with Monday at 85 and then highs dropping to the mid-70s.
Enjoy these last moments of spring-like weather, because the sweltering summer is just around the corner.
