Beware tidal flooding today in Charleston
Image by Flickr user eyebee High tide at the Charleston Battery.
Above average high tides are expected to combine with winds to push tides up to just above 7 feet in Charleston around noon.
While the event won't be as bad as we've seen when rains combine with tides of this level, you should still be cautious if you live in or drive through low-lying areas exercise caution as it doesn't take much water for low cars to flood.
