S.C. works toward greater energy efficiency in new homes

State lawmakers are generally supporting a bill that would require that South Carolina's new homes be more energy efficient.
This editorial in The Post and Courier does a good job addressing what the bill means and why it's a good idea for homeowners and the country as a whole.
A notable omission in the column is the staggering factoid that the Palmetto State is the third highest consumer of electricity per person in the nation.
