Army Corps proposes $18.5 worth of projects along S.C.'s coast

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is proposing $18.5 million in projects for South Carolina in 2011.

According to the Associated Press release, the projects will include $10 million for dredging and maintaining the Charleston Harbor, $6 million for the St. Stephen power plan and about $320,000 for surveys and environmental compliance activities with the Georgetown Harbor project and $114,000 for the study involving Edisto Island storm damage reduction.
