Economists talk Grand Strand at CCU

On Tuesday local and regional economists gathered at Coastal Carolina University to discuss the local economy and the outlook for growth along the Grand Strand. 

Despite the state and countries high unemployment numbers the Grand Strand hasn't suffered as badly as the rest of the country. Our home prices plummeted long after the crisis started and we are one of the first regions in the country to see home sales increasing. But, by no means are we out of the proverbial woods.
