Jesse Jackson Jr. speaks at local NAACP banquet

U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. spoke at the 92nd annual Freedom Fund Banquet held by the local branch of the NAACP.

National co-chairman of the Barack Obama Presidential campaign, South Carolina native, and son of famous Jesse Jackson, the 43-year-old walked a tightrope between the banquets stated focus on education-oriented awards, and the obvious fervor over Obama's chance at being the country's first black president.

Head over to The Post and Courier for how the banquet went and who won awards.
