In an attempt to thumb their noses at the President of the United States and the Supreme Court, a South Carolina state rep is backing a bill that would place people under arrest and jailed for 5 years for implementing 'Obamacare' in the state. 

Rep. Bill Chumley is hoping to get his bill passed during the next legislative session. According to the U.S. News and World Report the bill targets state officials who if caught "enforcing the healthcare law would be guilty of a misdemeanor and "must be fined not more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than two years, or both." U.S. News goes on to report that,

"Any federal employee or contractor enforcing the law "is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than five thousand dollars, or imprisoned not more than five years, or both," the bill proposes.

Chumley believes the state is within its right to do this and thinks 'Obamacare' is unconstitutional, even though the question of that was settled earlier this year by the Supreme Court.
