Massive tract of Dorchester land gets a second chance at development

After the massive land deal went south back in January, MeadWestvaco has wound up owning the 6,600-acre East Edisto tract once again.

It's news because the local land mogul made a nice profit in the process, and it's a chance for the land to be developed in a way that better respects the rural nature of the area.
