CARTA cutting East Cooper bus route due to poor ridership

The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) announced this afternoon that due to a lack of ridership, the East Cooper Connector bus route #401 will be discontented beginning Saturday, February 23.
According to CARTA:
A new route, the 41 Coleman Blvd, will cover part of this routes old serivce area in Mount Pleasand, SC. Service to Whipple Road, Long Point, Belle Hall, Snowden, Boone Hall and the Charles Pinckney Historic site will no longer be available.
