CARTA ridership up 20 percent

Charleston's local bus service is doing well during the high gas prices, and ridership has gone up to some 361,483 for the month of August. That's some 20.5% more than August 2007.

It's great news for fans of commuter rail, which Mayor Joe Riley has been pushing for.
