A combination of stimulus dollars and regular funding is finally hitting Charleston's interstates in the form of new pavement.

Read more stories on this subject in our roads topic page.More specifically the money will allow resurfacing of some 15 miles of I-526 in West Ashley and I-26 near Goose Creek and Summerville.
