The $3.5 million project of dredging of Charleston Harbor's entrance channel is expected to finish this week.

According to the article in the Charleston Regional Business Journal, Manson Construction Co. has removed roughly 1.5 million cubic yards of sediment from the channel since work began on February 28th.

In addition to project news, the article has some pretty cool tidbits of information on the suction hopper dredge ship, the Glenn Edwards; read it here.
