Clemson creates college guide for families

The Clemson University Alliance for Research in Higher Education has put out a college guide designed for families trying to make college decisions, including how to get in and how to pay for it.

From The Post and Courier:

The free 125-page book called "Planning for College: A Comprehensive Guide for S.C. Families" was released Friday. It's available online and in print, alliance director Catherine Watt said. "It's the most comprehensive set of information on admission and financial aid I have ever seen," she said.

The guide includes information specifically for South Carolina residents on preparing for, getting in and paying for college, she said. It also includes useful information for students with many different educational goals, she said. "Whether you're trying to decide between Duke and Harvard or looking for a technical college, there's something in it for you," she said.
