Crisis Ministries opens brand new education center

Crisis Ministries, which is approaching on the 26th year serving the Lowcountry's homeless, opened the newly renovated Homeless Employment and Learning Program Center yesterday.
The new HELP program takes place in a private house that was sold to the nonprofit shelter in 2007. Inside the renovated building are classrooms and workplaces for guests of Crisis Ministries interested in earning WorkKey certification or a High School Equivalency Diploma.
The Post and Courier has a nice write-up on the new space and comments from both students, teachers, and supporters of the new HELP program; read it here.
